Welcome to regionalmortgage.ca's User Agreement. This Agreement describes the terms and conditions applicable to your use of our services at the regionalmortgage.ca Internet site.

The regionalmortgage.ca Internet site is owned and operated by Regional Mortgage Corporation. The company is a registered mortgage broker under the "Mortgage Brokers Act" of Alberta, Canada. Regional Mortgage Corporation is incorporated Federally in Canada, 2001.
Fees and Services:
Use of the regionalmortgage.ca site is offered by Regional Mortgage Corporation to applicants free of charge. There are no fees relating to the mortgage application, or application for any other product or service, through regionalmortgage.ca. Regardless, a fee may be charged directly to the applicant by a mortgage lending financial institution or mortgage broker if the applicant decides to proceed with their application. Consult your selected financial institution or broker for details.
Regional Mortgage Corporation. receives a fee paid by participating lenders or its licensed Mortgage Brokers on applications that result in funding.
Mortgage Brokers - fees and services:
Mortgage brokers act as intermediaries between borrowers and a wide variety of mortgage lending financial institutions including banks, trusts, credit unions and life insurance companies. Mortgage lending financial institutions pay mortgage brokers "correspondent" or "placement" fees for originating and underwriting new mortgage loan business on their behalf. In the vast majority of cases a mortgage broker is paid by the lender and therefore does not charge the borrower, however, in some cases where the application is complex or mortgage financing is difficult to arrange, the mortgage broker may charge a fee to the borrower for services rendered. Ask your broker about any applicable fees, and then decide whether to proceed or cancel your application.
Limitation of Liability:
Regionalmortgage.ca provides the regionalmortgage.ca Internet site and services "as is" to the user without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory. Regionalmortgage.ca disclaims any implied warranties of title, merchantability, non infringement of intellectual property or fitness for any particular purpose.
Except as may be otherwise expressly provided by written agreement between the Company and the user, the Company will have no tort, contract or any other liability to the user and/or any third party arising in connection with the use of this Internet site, or reliance on any information or services provided at this Internet site. Nor will the Company be liable for any other problems experiences by the user due to causes beyond the Company's control. No license to the user is implied in these disclaimers.
Unencrypted e-mail communications over the Internet are not secure. We do not encourage anyone to send personal financial information to us using unencrypted e-mail.
A more secure means of communicating with us over the internet is available to customers using the regionalmortgage.ca "APPLY ONLINE" service. However, users should be aware that this online mortgage application has also been designed specifically to omit the necessity of the applicant having to provide sensitive information. Applicants acknowledge that it is their responsibility to protect their sensitive financial information by declining to transmit it on the secure application or in the accompanying notes submitted. Those applicants that are hesitant to provide personal information over the Internet are encouraged to select the "Call Back" option and to proceed with their application conventionally by phone, fax or in person with their financial institution or mortgage broker.
